The road to Boomerang Motorhomes
A simple story, starting in 2014, of a son helping his mum and dad fulfil their once in a life time dream of owning a motorhome and travelling across Europe, the UK and back home in Australia
Drawing on his legal, tax and business background, London based Ronnie undertook to make that dream come true. Taking care of all the details Ronnie’s parents spent six months travelling around Europe in their UK purchased motorhome and are continuing their adventures back here in Oz today
After a chance meeting in London, old friends Ronnie and Em, shared their motorhome stories. Em, an experienced client advisor and transformation specialist had just completed an awesome motorhome trip around England, Scotland and Wales with her partner
Together, Ronnie and Em agreed how incredible it would be to offer a global and hassle-free motorhome ownership experience to all Australians, and just like that Boomerang Motorhomes was born
Meet the Founders
Ronnie and Em work together with a great team of specialists and industry partners to make motorhome ownership dreams come true
Malaysian born Ronnie, grew up in Sydney. In his university years, whilst completing his Bachelor and Masters of Economics he was the President of Sydney University Student Union, Owned a café and Played First Grade Cricket. Ronnie went on to do an honours Law degree at ANU and his working career comprises, corporate and commercial law, International and M&A Tax professional services and M&A advisory.
Following a move to the UK ten years ago, Ronnie has expanded his advisory offering to include business advisory and has completed three commercial to residential property developments in Scotland. Ronnie is a loving husband and father to three children, his daily rituals start with a 5am morning walk with wife Vikki, he loves all good things food and wine and having a bloody good laugh.
Em is a passionate hardworking Australian, with a background working in investment banks and venture capital funds in the UK and Europe. Em was born in South Australia and has lived across all the states on the east coast. She studied at the University of Queensland where she gained a Bachelor of Economics and Bachelor of Commerce degrees, Em is a qualified accountant and client advisor with over 25 years of experience in professional services.
Em specialising in business transformation, strategy and operations across a broad range of sectors. She has four children and is involved in a variety of social and community organisations, where she actively works to deliver results and assist them to be the best they can be. Em keeps fit, loves to surf, scuba dive and ride horses. Her favourite hobby however is riding her KW650 motorbike with her partner Angus on a Sunday afternoon.
